This itinerary begins from the Angevin door of Port'Alba with a a careful visit to the Greek walls. Visit the fourteenth century church of San Pietro a Majella and then on to the church of Santa Maria Maggiore known as the Pietrasanta with the oldest bell tower of the city. The walk continues by visiting the bring good luck skulls of the church of Purgatorio ad Arco then to the imposing Basilica of San Paolo Maggiore and the Church of San Lorenzo Maggiore, a witness of the love between Boccaccio and Fiammetta.
